The Altars armchair, hand-carved from solid stained ash, features the angles of Teotihuacan's Pyramid of the Sun. Its textured exterior surfaces contrast with smooth, welcoming interiors. Presented at Salon Révélations 2022, shown at Paris and Shanghai Design Week and sold by Maison Piasa, it explores the frontier between sculpture and contemporary design.
