Sébastien Coudert-Maugendre designs interiors as sensitive narratives, shaped by the history of a place as much as by the personality of its occupants. He graduated from ESAM Design in 2022 and is a member of the Conseil Français d'Architecture Intérieure, developing an approach at the crossroads of interior architecture, design and arts and crafts.

Before devoting himself fully to architecture, he worked for several years as a marketing manager in England, the Netherlands and Asia. This international experience gave him a culture of precision, organization and management of complex projects, qualities he now applies to his work as an interior designer.

Each project is born of an attentive listening process: that of usage, of the emotions sought, of the way of living or receiving. This is coupled with a sensitive reading of the existing space - its history, its volumes, its light - which becomes the guiding thread. The space is then redesigned to facilitate circulation, create perspectives and reveal the coherence of the space. Often, it all starts with a detail: a handle, a marble, a painting... which feeds into the whole project.

Its aesthetic vocabulary favors pure, sober and sophisticated lines, always at the service of fluidity and comfort. Precious materials and fine craftsmanship find their rightful place, interacting with custom-designed furniture, contemporary pieces and carefully selected twentieth-century creations. These elements create timeless, refined worlds, designed to last and evolve with those who live in them.

Represented by Galerie Gosserez and Galerie 208, winner of the AD & Range Rover 2025 Design Award, he works in France and abroad on residential, tertiary, hotel and restaurant projects. His ambition: to create elegant, welcoming interiors, where purity invites you to live, and where detail becomes a source of emotion.
