Renovation of an apartment
50 m²
Paris 2
2023
This 50 m² apartment, located in a building dating from the Directoire period, has been completely reinvented to house the Paris headquarters of a real estate hunting company.
The customers wanted a hybrid space, conceived as an apartment in which to receive their customers, while at the same time integrating a modular space at the rear, offering a spare office and a bedroom for the manager during his Parisian stays.
The historic identity, lost in the course of past transformations, has been recreated through meticulous architectural composition: moldings, arches and classical rhythms restore the place to its original elegance. This base is combined with a refined selection of materials and styles. The project blends bespoke design pieces, curated elements from the 70s and contemporary creations, in a sophisticated atmosphere.
Taj Mahal granite, Carrara marble, walnut, patinated brass and precious fabrics create an ambience that is both timeless and contemporary, punctuated by a play of mirrors that enrich the perception of volumes. The result is a space at the crossroads of use, combining representation and comfort, revisited classicism and singular modernity.
