Renovation of a 202 m² apartment in the 17th arrondissement of Paris
2025
This Parisian pied-à-terre, designed for a client based in Mexico, combines post-Haussmannian elegance with contemporary requirements. The existing mezzanine was completely demolished and rebuilt to open up double-height views and allow natural light to flow throughout the apartment. A complete reconfiguration of the space has created a more fluid layout while ensuring the privacy of the four bedrooms and three bathrooms.
The renovation is based on a precise dialogue between interior architecture and craftsmanship: engraved brass door frames, custom stained glass windows, decorative ceilings, hand-crafted plasterwork, églomisé glass, and custom-designed woodwork. The overall atmosphere, which is warm, refined, and peaceful, is also based on a selection of eclectic furniture—Italian pieces from the 1950s, revisited French classics—complemented by several custom-made creations, including rugs, chairs, and a coffee table.
